Youngest of Château MAUCAILLOU, the "N°2 de MAUCAILLOU" comes from the same beautiful terroir of MOULIS, which produces the Premier vin. He has the same origin and a similar personality.
Resulting from particularly strict selections, the "N°2 de MAUCAILLOU" is aged by Pascal DOURTHE, with the same meticulous and attentive care that he lavishes on the great wine of Château MAUCAILLOU.
 
Although it cannot lay claim to as much complexity and volume as its elder “Château MAUCAILLOU”, its qualities show a real family spirit.
 
The "N°2 de MAUCAILLOU" is a charming, pleasant, generously fruity, round, "flesh" and "long in the mouth" wine thanks to silky tannins. It remains a safe bet for the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée MOULIS-EN-MEDOC.
