The AOC Pessac-Léognan is a fairly recent appellation since it dates from 1987 but it has a very old terroir which dates from the Middle Ages . Located to the south-west of Bordeaux, the appellation brings together all the Grands Crus Classés of the Graves and mainly produces red wine.

2015 vintage in Bordeaux

The 2015 vintage of Bordeaux is considered by great tasters around the world as very good, especially in comparison with the two previous ones, which were less promising. Some even go so far as to speak of an “exceptional” year. Indeed, 2015 brought excellent ripening conditions and ideal weather. "This vintage is in line with the great 2005, 2009 and 2010 and produces reds that are silky, crunchy with a lot of fruit and elegance" even indicated to AFP Stéphane Toutoundji, oenologist and specialist in advice to wine estates.
